    rooftop terrace
    poor soundproofing
    leaking showerhead

The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking sunset views.

My stay was marred by persistent outside noise that made it difficult to sleep. the main room door had poor soundproofing, allowing disturbances from the hallways to interrupt my rest.

    inconvenience

Absolutely loved the 'beautiful' marble stairs, but had to be careful not to trip! my room had no kettle, which would have completed my stay perfectly. oh, and the air con? turned off at midnight, waking me up to fiddle with it. almost left a good review, but just couldn’t. so disappointing!

    breathtaking sunset views
    disruptive noise levels

A hidden gem in the city

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, just steps from the Alcazaba and various restaurants. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking sunset views, perfect for evening relaxation.

If you seek quiet nights, this place may not suit you well. Noise from nearby restaurants and guests can be disruptive, making restful sleep elusive.

    great location
    comfy beds
    helpful staff
    noisy
    tiny reception

the location was wow! super close to the alcazaba and everything u wanna see in malaga. the staff were nice and helpful, always ready to give tips. beds were comfy and the hotel was clean and cozy. loved the little rooftop terrace for chillin' with beer at sunset!

but the noise was kinda annoying at night, especially from the street. also, the reception area is tiny and feels a bit off-putting.

Noise can be a real issue here. if you're on the third floor like I was, expect to hear late-night conversations from the rooftop bar and cleaning sounds from the cafeteria above. The shower curtain doesn't hang low enough, leading to water splashes all over the bathroom floor, turning it into a bit of a slip hazard. a kettle in the room would have been nice, but it’s easy to find a coffee shop on the street if you’re in a pinch. Those late-night parties spilled over into my evenings during my stay, making it challenging to get a decent sleep.

    stunning view
    friendly staff
    persistent noise
    shower curtain issue
    lack of fridge

The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the historic sites and a stunning view from the rooftop. The room was comfortable and clean, while the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the noise from the vibrant nightlife can interfere with peace, particularly on lower floors. The shower curtain could use improvement, as it didn't properly contain water, leading to a messy bathroom. Even though the complimentary wine was a nice touch, not having a fridge made it less enjoyable.
